Ajay Prakash Shrivastava dedicated his life to Maharishi, who guided him and his family since his childhood. Maharishi’s trust and confidence in Prakash have proven well-founded: today, he oversees over 200 Consciousness-Based Education schools and universities across India, and plays a leading role in numerous other initiatives connected with Maharishi’s legacy both in India and worldwide.
Prakash will take us on a tour of the Land of the Veda: India, the birthplace of Transcendental Meditation (TM) and the many technologies of consciousness Maharishi introduced to the world. Drawing on his leadership of numerous educational institutions, he will present the ideal approach to Indian education — one that honours India’s timeless Vedic heritage while embracing modern science and contemporary educational practices.

Beyond education, Prakash’s work encompasses Vedic knowledge, Maharishi Jyotish, Maharishi Sthapatya Veda (Vastu), Ayurvedic knowledge, Vedic upliftment programs, and Maharishi Vedic Pandit projects. Additionally, he was an early advocate of renewable energy in India and previously served as President of the Solar Energy Society of India (SESI).
