With TM Teacher Ashia Fredeen and Special Guest Amrita Shrivastava.

Ayurveda, the world’s ancient system of holistic healthcare, sees our health not merely as the absence of illness, but as a state of lively harmony — a dynamic balance between our mind and body, our behavior and the environment, our consciousness and our physiology. Ayurveda gives us timeless wisdom about how we live, eat, think, and heal.

To better understand Maharishi AyurVeda, we are pleased to welcome Amrita Shrivastava from Maharishi International University (MIU). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Biotechnology, a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Human Genetics, and an MS in Maharishi AyurVeda and Integrative Medicine.

Amrita is currently a PhD researcher and Program Director for the Bachelor’s in Ayurveda course at MIU. She also teaches Advanced Techniques of TM and the TM-Sidhis Program.

Amrita will take us into the heart of Ayurveda, where biology meets consciousness, and ancient healing meets modern science.

You will learn:

  • Everyone has a unique mind-body type: how your dosha shapes your energy, digestion, sleep, stress response, and even your emotional tendencies
  • Small changes in daily habits can bring big shifts in well-being
  • The principle of Agni: the digestive fire that governs transformation in your body
  • The role of Ojas: the subtle essence of immunity and vitality
  • The role of TM: how the unique experience of restful alertness during TM activates your body’s natural healing responses, helping to balance your nervous system and improve your health

Join us to explore a deeper, more natural approach to working with your body’s innate intelligence.

The event will begin with as 20-minute group meditation at 2:00 PM ET / 11:00 AM PT
